Good quality and economical micrometer

Great for relative sizing of samples. Sharp and clear lines from 10x to multiple 100x magnification. Sturdy and travels in its own padded case. Handy little device.

It arrived safely and quickly in the plastic case. It was easy to use to determine the field of view for higher magnifications for the scopes my students were using.

One can make measurements under the microscope at various magnifications, but are they accurate? This slide is an excellent tool to one-teach students how to make accurate measurements, and tow - to check measurements for accuracy. The four different scales provide an excellent method to confirm checks.

I think this is accurate. I use it for calibrating my microscope and determining sizes of samples I'm looking at at various magnifications.
