Latest batch is no good
My original review is below. This is my updated review. The first two times I ordered this part I was happy. There was the issue with the stenciling, but they've fixed that now. But the third time I ordered the part they didn't work. It seems like I had the same problem the other folks have had. I noticed one of the lines, I think it was CRX, was stuck high, I think it was. So my updated review is now 1 star - doesn't work. Original review: As folks say, the silk-screen pin info is reversed on the bottom side of the module. But really, get over it. It takes all of two minutes to look at the data sheet and ring it out and figure out what's going on. Or you can just believe me that the labeling on the upper side of the board is correct. These worked fine for me, and I ordered more.

On the one hand, the names of the contacts are one, and on the other side, the opposite.
On the one hand, the names of the contacts are one, and on the other side, the opposite. Where is the truth? You can’t figure it out without a datasheet. In the photo, in the product description, the same situation. 8\ Update. Names on the front side are true. I put 3 stars instead of one.

Dead on arrival: RX pin stuck low
This chip simply didn't work the first time I wired it up. 3.3V power, a happy looking CAN signal in, (no common mode offset -- transmitter and receiver were both powered from the same USB hub) but RXD line is stuck low. Hmm....that's weird...disconnect CANH and CANL -- now RX should definitely be high for recessive bit, but it's still low. Some some complaints about bad silkscreen labels, so double check against the datasheet and the silkscreen is correct now. The chip just doesn't work.

DOA
Maybe I just got unlucky with this one and it didn’t work, I tried the Tja1051 and that worked with basically the same wiring so I know for sure this d230 was DOA

This item was waste of my time.
I spent five hour trying to make it work. It is trash! Find another supplier.
