It defaulted to the "on for 3 seconds" mode, but pressing one of the buttons let it turn on/off as expected. Pretty instant response time. Both switches work independently and also via a Zigbee group. They even work via Zigbee scenes - so I'll be able to have scenes for "All speakers", "Kitchen speakers", "Dining and Kitchen speakers", etc, which is great. I'm pretty sure Deconz is using Zigbee features for this, rather than faking Zigbee groups. So it's great that it supports the different Zigbee features so well. I've struggled on this with lots of (non-Hue) lighting controllers. It also remembers the previous state, both on/off and mode, after power is cut. I don't know how long for. There's no battery I can see, but there could be a little bit of flash storage on one of the chips. I just bought two more of these so I can control 3x groups of stereo speakers.
