The instructions were easy to follow, and the system worked the first time; no issues. Make sure to get the XKLoader 2 along with this module as you must update the firmware before installing it. The XKLoader is basically a ~$25 USB to CAN interface, but it's necessary in order to program the DBALL. I had to connect ~12 wires between the Python 580 and the DBALL, and I have a fully functional remote start system. The Python key fob is able to perform all the same functions as the factor fob, and then some. The DBALL also does not require you to sacrifice a transponder key to work, which is nice. I couldn't be happier with how the system functions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Most innovative bypass *by J***F on October 28, 2013* Dei is the best for add on security and convenience. Their dball covers a ton of vehicles and reduces the wiring nightmare of installation. Once I had to reprogram the module after the system became unresponsive after a year of problem free use, but it may not have been due to module's fault. For noobs, go to xpresskit.Com for applications and you will need to get the xkloader (30 dollars on amazon) to program this module for your vehicle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DONT FORGET PROGRAMMERS!!!! *by M***R on February 27, 2011* I ordered this Module expecting it to read the key and configure itself to work with MY car. well it does not work that way. This needs to updated with the Firmware to your specific car. How do you update? you NEED to buy a programmer or go pay $30 in a shop. I bought the programmer and it works great.This Module requires XLOADER 2 (will not work with XLOADER). Only a few wires need to be connected to the car.
