Worse still they did not make my old one anymore and the new direct replacement was quite expensive. So, reluctantly, I bought this as I had two days before heading out again. It works perfectly with good range and I really should not have worried at all. Only small thing (and most are). It has a B type USB dongle and many newer laptps and Macs do NOT have that style of USB connector available.
