Early in the product life of the iPhone 7, it's difficult to find a case which is custom made, I checked out several cases locally and they appeared to have been produced in anticipation of this new phone, e.g., their fit was loose and approximate. This case fits tightly around the phone, you will never have to worry about it sliding around in its mounting or falling out.My primary concern was this case allowing use of the Apple Dock, most cases are so thick they would not allow the phone to rest on the mounting dock. Looking at you, OtterBox. The KAVAJ allows for the phone to mount easily, there's plenty of room for it to slide onto the dock. The case is EXACTLY as illustrated above.Smiles:The card holder(s) are sensibly located on the outside rear, which avoids closing issues which seem to plague cases which locate the card slots inside the case.The on/off button on the top right side of the phone is easily accessed, the cutout is exactly placed.Uniformly well, made, simple yet dignified, I look forward to watching this leather age.Appears to be very protective without appearing clunky. I'm not hard on my electronics, and I'm sure this would survive a short drop from a pocket or purse onto a hard surface.Frowns:The magnetic closure seems a bit limp, but it works. I guess a strong magnet might play poorly with credit cards. Note: The magnetic clasp does not automatically turn the phone off or on, I'm not sure that's even a feature of an iPhone.I'd like to see the beautiful grain pattern on the front of the phone as is on the back, but that's the luck of the draw, I'm not deducting a star here because my case is the same as the one pictured in the Amazon illustration.Summary:The price is fine for this case, and it is that rare purchase which is satisfying because it lives up to its promises with no short cuts or surprises. I have attached a few photos, some of which are annotated for clarity. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Functional, stylish case gets the job done and more! *by A***G on October 6, 2016* I have purchased four iPhone cases and two iPad cases from KAVAJ and have been extremely satisifed. The natural leather looks and feels good and wears well over time. The iPhone cases have a plastic frame that the phone clips into. Although I do not take my phone in and out of the case often (you don't need to I order to use the phone or hold cards), I have never had a problem with the phone slipping out of the case. It is locked in snug. The card holders are very tight at first, but the leather stretches with use, and I have gotten up to four credit card sized cards into the two holders comfortably at the same time with some room for business cards once the leather has stretched further. This has helped me eliminate the need to carry my wallet with me everywhere. I can pretty much get away with just taking my phone. The cover of the case is great with a magnetic closure that keeps the case shut when not in use. This cover protects the screen from scratches very well. I have dropped my phones a couple of dozen times in this case with no damage, which I largely attribute to the cover providing sound screen protection plus the leather being soft enough to absorb much of the blow of a fall. All in all, I highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a functional, stylish iPhone case that doubles as a wallet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Protective Case *by S***9 on May 19, 2017* Bought my first Kavaj 2 years ago when I got my iPhone 6. My daughter had one and I loved it. Slips into the back pocket of my jeans very nicely for my steps counter (30k per day) I do remove it to sit down. I'm able to carry my license, debit card and a $20 bill. I never even take a purse anymore. So nice to travel lite! I bought the brown because it broke in so nice. Over the last two years it's become softer and gotten at least two shades darker. Just traded up to the new iPhone 7 and old case did not fit. I'm passing the phone and case on to my daughter. After two years my phone doesn't have a scratch on it, thanks to this case the phone is pristine. I thought it was expensive at the time I bought it but the AT&T store was selling very similar items for 50 bucks so 30.00 was a great deal for a quality leather case. People always comment on it and ask me where I got it. It looks very elegant. Bought off Amazon and it came very quickly.
