I like snacking on dry cereal and needed a container to store it instead of keeping it in the box and risking it going stale. This jar is large enough to hold most of the contents of a box of cereal. The lid seals tight and the cereal stays fresh down to the last nubbin. I hand wash it and it comes out nice and clean. Great jar.

We buy a certain dog biscuit cookies for our 3 rescue dogs which come in a box. I really don’t like that as it is inconvenient and boxed products don’t always retain their freshness, in my opinion. I wanted a gallon type container but not a glass one since the location where I keep our dog supplies has limited space and glass containers are not a good idea. (One of our dogs is a climber and might knock it off). When I first saw the box I thought I had ordered the wrong size, but it was perfect. It looks like glass and is very sturdy. Glad I went with this option.

Ordered this jar for a Mother’s Day gift and was so impressed with the size and value. This is a heavy duty plastic material making it light in weight, but not breakable for safe storage. I used this for a project but it is multi functional because you could use this to store food or other supplies as well. I will definitely be ordering more to use for organizing.

This jar is a good size for my needs, very lightweight and clear. Bought it for an unconventional use: to store a large collection of buttons. It met my needs but probably would not buy again due to its high price. $15 for one thin plastic jar is ridiculous. That is why I deducted one star. I included a pic of the 64oz jar next to a can of soup for size reference.

my boiled eggs and cucumber and onions are perfect fit in these plastic jars. no discoloration at all. We love the very large opening. will hold 4 dozen pickled grade A eggs and vinegar water. After dropping several Glass jars i switched for our safety.

I bought these to replace several glass gallon+ storage jars which I loved, but finding out we live in an earthquake zone we decided we needed plastic containers to maintain our backup food storage. These containers are "adequate", but I wish they were twice as thick/strong and are only one or two grades above disposable. A few good bumps while lifting them in and out of our lowest shelves or even one drop from even 1-2ft, and I fear they will split open/crack. Update: one year out these began to crack around the base due to mild bumps and jostling in and out of their cupboard. Ironically I've now found a "disposable" PET food container which Kirkland mixed nuts are sold in to be a far sturdier and reliable storage container which we've begun to collect as replacements.

They fit well. I found it easy to look at the picture provided in the description to see if my jars are compatible.

I expected the 'wide mouth' to be the same standard mason jar wide mouth size & that's the only reason I purchased this (for a particular purpose - to use with wide mouth rings), so unfortunately, it's of little to no use to me...

did not fit my one gallon jars. These lids had very little thread to hold it on if it did fit.
