The hardest part is getting the new bands to stretch. I ended up using zip ties to pull to get the smaller one over the motor shaft. I was swearing a lot. But I won that battle. Then the beater bar one. Swore a lot on that one too, but I also won. During first use the machine made that horrible noise it makes when you hit fringe etc in carpets but within a minute it stopped and went back to normal operation.
