There's definitely good and bad to that though - the good is that, well, it's thin. It's designed to be the most minimalistic case that exists; which brings me to the bad - protection is minimal. While there is a bit of a camera bump to protect the lens, there isn't a lip for the front screen. The material makeup of the case makes it feel incredibly brittle. The brittle nature of the material combined with the very, very form fitting factor made it a bit of a challenge to get the case on - there's no stretch whatsoever. None. Nada. Given the very, very minimalistic design of the case, I'm not convinced it'll actually protect the phone from drops or bumps. Dirt and scratches, maybe.So here's my last addition to the review - there's no chance this should be priced at $39. There are far, far more protective cases out there that still have a minimalistic and thin form factor. I've been buying a load of different cases lately, but nothing has come close to the value that I've found in Smartish Cases.
