One of the best purchases I have made. Dough does NOT get stuck, makes perfect shaped fried pies. Stainless steel is durable, edges are sharp enough to cut the dough but will not cut you and seals with ease. Great price for this awesome product.

This empanada press is a bit larger than I expected, but it’s very sturdy and well-made. The hinge feels solid, the plastic is durable, and it seals the dough edges cleanly without much effort. It works great for empanadas, calzones, and even hand pies if you don’t mind the larger size. Overall, a good-quality kitchen tool—just make sure the size fits what you’re looking for.

This gadget is amazing to make perfect empanadas. It seals them perfectly. Use strategies that help your success using this gadget. 1. Buy quality empanada discs or make your dough so that it is not too soft. 2. Stretch empanada disc over the ridges on the edge of the gadget 3. Place your empanada press hanging over a cutting board for a super sealed empanada. 4. Gently remove the empanada from the empanada press. See my picture and video. 5. Separate your empanadas with wax or parchment paper before frying them.

Its ok. Sure it gets the job mostly done but it sticks really bad, the handle loosens as you use it and will have to keep screwing it in tighter after every couple empanadas. I expected more to be honest. I think the cheap plastic ones may actually work better. Not a great quality for your money and it would save more time if the handle didn't loosen non stop.

I absolutely loved this empanada maker! It’s so easy to use, and now I wish I had ordered the smaller size too get both if you can! It works perfectly with chilled dough. If your dough starts getting sticky, just dust the empanada maker with a bit of flour or cornstarch, and you’re good to go. Here’s what worked best for me: I used a 6-inch round cookie cutter for the dough, transferred the cutout to the empanada maker, added a scoop of filling to the center, and brushed the edges with water to help seal it perfectly. The results were flawless and so satisfying. Highly recommend!

Sturdy and they turn out great great size

Terrible, everything sticks to it. No matter how much filling you use it oozes out the middle where it folds. Waste of time and money

as explained nice strong - yet the lever could have been made stronger

Compré este artilugio para facilitar el trabajo de hacer empanadas. Pero no funciona demasiado bien, si se pone la base de manera horizontal queda pellizcada en el centro y se rompe. Después de diez intentos volví a cerrar las empanadas de manera manual.

This is a huge press that works really well. Really well made. Easy to use.

Awful in all ways possible. Not 6” as advertised - actually not even 5” in size. When you try to fold and crimp the gap between halves oozes filling as the dough gets sliced by the sharp edges. Went back to hand making them. What a waste of time & money! Do better Amazon…
