Review: Bought several packs so far, no issues, great build quality - Used around 700 so far, no issues, great leds.
Review: Super awesome year round permanent holiday lights! Bright! - I bought 2,000 of these lights a year ago and installed them permanently on my home under the eves. I mostly followed a video guide I found online from a DrZzs on youtube. I recommend the 12V version of these instead of the 5v. These are very bright lights. In the 2,000 lights I received, I only had one pixel that stayed red no matter what color it is supposed to be. It is easy to splice in a new pixel, just make sure you maintain the proper direction. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ***** These only work in one direction!!! ***** what that means is if you cut and splice sections or pixels, make sure they are all fed from the same end of the strand (male vs. female). If you accidentally get one backwards it will not work. Big bummer after you spend 2 days putting them up on your house! I found that if I plugged in more than 7 strands (70') they started acting funny. The voltage dropped from 13.5V to 11.5V after 70'. Instead of injecting power every 70' or so by running feeders from the power supply, I just bought (3) power supplies and fed them from both ends and the middle. The 12V DC power supplies I bought on desertcart were $18 ... cheaper than the wire I could buy for feeders. I also used the Magic LED SP105E controller, which connects to your phone via Bluetooth and allows you to change the lights to one of 200+ shows. Absolutely highly recommend these lights as you can use them for all holidays, parties, or whenever!

I bought 2,000 of these lights a year ago and installed them permanently on my home under the eves. I mostly followed a video guide I found online from a DrZzs on youtube. I recommend the 12V version of these instead of the 5v. These are very bright lights. In the 2,000 lights I received, I only had one pixel that stayed red no matter what color it is supposed to be. It is easy to splice in a new pixel, just make sure you maintain the proper direction. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ***** These only work in one direction!!! ***** what that means is if you cut and splice sections or pixels, make sure they are all fed from the same end of the strand (male vs. female). If you accidentally get one backwards it will not work. Big bummer after you spend 2 days putting them up on your house! This is for the strand operated with 5 vd Setup: a 5vd/3 amp wallwort to power the strip , an UNO and both the Neopixel & fastled libraries in several sketches They functioned without any problems . Fastled - #define LED_TYPE WS2812B or as WS2811( both worked with this strip) #define COLOR_ORDER GRB - correct for this strip #define NUM_LEDS 50 Neopixel- They would not work when set to 400 KHz or RGB . // Parameter 1 = number of pixels in strip // Parameter 2 = pin number (most are valid) // Parameter 3 = pixel type flags, add together as needed: // NEO_KHZ800 800 KHz bitstream (most NeoPixel products w/WS2812 LEDs) // NEO_KHZ400 400 KHz (classic 'v1' (not v2) FLORA pixels, WS2811 drivers) // NEO_GRB Pixels are wired for GRB bitstream (most NeoPixel products) // NEO_RGB Pixels are wired for RGB bitstream (v1 FLORA pixels, not v2) Adafruit_NeoPixel strip = Adafruit_NeoPixel(50, PIN, NEO_GRB + NEO_KHZ800); - correct settings for this step Attached to the Ws8211 strip (50 pixel) is a WS2812B Strip (30 pixel)
