I was not disappointed once received. Packaging top tier - No salt leaking into mailing packaging. Once cellophane is removed, I opened container carefully and over a napkin. Salt is so flaky and light. Use a wooden teaspoon to get it out. I didn't and the salt adhered to the stainless steel spoon like a magnet. I've now purchased a wooden teaspoon. I don't use salt because of high blood pressure but bought this natural French salt to use for dishes when entertaining friends - their body, their choice. Yes, I tasted it. Delicious!

First, this is a wonderful salt to cook with and finish with. The salt itself is great, but the lid is not. It is easier to empty the salt into your own container. The lid is flimsy and cracks off and it is not possible to get an airtight seal afterwards. I rate the salt itself as 5 stars.

Great taste and also knowing how the salt was harvested. Not by mining, but by skimming evaporated salt from the surface of the water. I like the packaging, as well. It is like a salt pig that you would pay $$$.
