That's what I have, and it works fine. As for those people who say it's too hard to attach to an iPad 12", perhaps they're trying to make it fit lengthwise. I attach mine from side to side. I place one side into the clamp, and then open the other clamp and slide it on. It works every time with little difficulty. I worked around the problem with the clamp moving when adjusting the position of the iPad by putting clamps on either side to keep it in one place. So far, it's been perfect for my needs.I am a portrait artist, and I often paint from a collection of photos. I have my iPad attached to the back of my easel, and as stated above, I have two clamps on either side of the Greepin clamp to keep it from moving around. I've used it for several months with no trouble. I love that I can enlarge the picture to see greater detail.The stand is quite sturdy, even with the larger iPad Pro. I easily maneuver the iPad into a horizontal or vertical position with no effort at all. And, of course with the iPad, I have my "tunes", my podcasts, lectures, etc. right there with me while I'm painting. I also keep a Bluetooth keyboard handy in case an important email comes in that needs an immediate response.I would offer one caution, however. When tightening the clamp to the table, don't over tighten it. Perhaps that's what happened to some whose clamps broke. After reading some reviews from some folks, you have to ask yourself, " is this just operator error? ". Must be. I found that the stiffness of the flexible arm is an attribute. Holds your device pretty steady. As in anything new, it needs a little working in. Before you place your device in it, move it around a little. Try to loosen it up a bit. Then manipulate it, without device, into an approximate desired position. Pre-size the clamp to your table thickness and while holding the base area, tighten with both hands, one holding the neck while the other hand tightens the tightening nut. Then consider attaching your device. If you attach it to a table, for instance, and sit in an adjacent chair, it works great. If you attach it to your headboard, it'll probably move everytime you move. Do not attempt to make drastic moves with your device without holding firmly to the base tightening nut. Common sense. Anyway, it works fine for me. Best of luck to you. ### ⭐ Plastic screw down clamp and nut that hold the unit together broke after 11 month. Have to buy another hollder. *by R***N on May 19, 2017* I got my Geepin stand two days ago so have limited experience with it. So far overall I am enjoying it. I am bedridden and my iPad pro was putting a lot of strain on my left shoulder. The stand has greatly helped in that I only have to hold it with two fingers to stop it from vibrating. Based on other reviews I was expecting the shaking as I make selections on the keyboard or the screen. My major complaint is that I can't swing the holder away from the set up position to get my iPad out of the way when I need to use my oveer-the-bed table. Instead of swiveling I have to unclamp the stand and move it to the adjacent side of the table and reclamp it. I also find it difficult to bend the gooseneck, because it is very rigid. The write-up title says 360 deg rotation, which is misleading because I believe it was referring to being able to rotate the device 360 deg not the table clamp, which is what I was looking for.Have had my GEEPIN holder for three months now. The plastic nut that holds the gooseneck to the holder broke. Thankfully they supply the spare. But now I'm concerned that the spear my break Need to find out how to order more plastic nuts to have hand as spares . The table clamp keeps loosening. So I have to keep tightening it. I'm afraid to put too much pressure on it in tightening it down for fear that I'll break that plastic part also. I agree with many other reviews that the gooseneck is very stiff and difficult to bend the way I want it.
