Exact replacement of original
I bumped the original T&P valve and it began to leak. Flushed old valve to remove sediment, still leaked. Easy replacement, add Teflon tape or thread sealer. Solved problem on 12 year old water heater. Excellent value!

Great product at a great price
This is probably the most common T&P relief valve in America. Watt's has a good reputation for reliability and quality. This device is an absolutely critical safety item so you want the best. It's a good idea to test yours annually and replace every so often. Another good thing is this is a very reasonable price you won't beat at big box stores. Free shipping is also nice. Highly recommend.

So easy even I can do it !!
Bought a brand new RV trailer and find out the water heater pressure relief valve leaks. Did everything everyone told me on the net to try to stop, but its just bad so needed to change it. Ordered this from Amazon they have the cheapest price on the net. Changed it out, just need to get the smallest pipe wrench you can find and remove the baffle, turn the old one out and put some teflon tape on the new one and twist it on. NO MORE LEAKS!! Might buy another one and keep as a spare just in case .....

Good replacement
Took much longer to lower water level then to remove old valve $ install new. Looked like comparable quality to the original in my 6 year old 40 gal water heater.

This is ridiculous.
The item is probably fine. I attempted to cancel the transaction 2 days after making it, I was told that they could not and it had already shipped. 4 days later I got a notice that the item had just shipped. The cost of the item makes it a stupid move to even return the thing since I will spend more shipping it back than I will get for the return. It's not an Amazon problem but I would expect better from a seller on Amazon. I'm sure the item is fine, not really thinking someone needs a review of a water heater pressure relief valve but I will give one anyway. This valve is the one that normally comes with all GE water heaters and many other brands from the factory. If GE and other manufacturers feel that it's a good enough valve to install new on their product then it's probably a quality product.

It works
Replaced old failed valve on my water heater with this one. 1 month in no problems or leaks. The hardest part was to take out the old valve, as its pretty easy to break despite the fact that its made from brass. I applied too much force with the wrench when I was taking the old one out and it ended up breaking off, leaving a piece which has the the thread on it inside the water heater. Ended up spending the whole day trying to take it out but in the end it all worked. Had to to drill out the stuck hollow piece on the inside until it was very thin and then used a small chisel to "claw" it out of the water heaters fitting. None of the tools I got from Home Depot designed to take out broken off pipe nipple worked as brass it soft metal and its very hard to get a good grip, it just keeps breaking off in small parts
