Must Have for PCB work
If you are doing any type of soldering work on a printed circuit board, this is something that you absolutely need to keep with your electrical tools. I have used the de-soldering pump in the past. But find that this wick provides the next level of cleaning up excess solder for the replacement of components on a printed circuit board. Good quality, fair price.

Wicks Away Old Solder Like a Sponge
It works exactly as described, just cut off a short section, hold the wick against soldered point with a pair of needle nose pliers (or similar), press the hot tip of soldering iron (I set the temp to 600 degrees F) against the wick end, and when it gets hot enough, the solder liquifies and flows into the wick. Works like a charm! I did it from a circuit board. That's my review with free guidance, this is a reliable desoldering product.

Good product, works as intended for an incredibly affordable price. The only downside is the tray that holds the iron is light and can slide easily if not secured to a table. Definitely worth purchasing if you need to do quick job.

Works exactly like it should
Using this for occasional desoldering work on small electronics boards. The braid pulls solder off pads cleanly and makes it easier to remove components without damaging anything.The included flux seems to help it wick the solder up pretty quickly. Just press it against the joint with a hot iron and it does its thing.Simple tool but it works exactly like it should. Always good to have some solder wick on the bench.

Questo elemento è un classico della dissaldatura che non deve mai mancare, sia che si tratti di hobbystica, sia in un laboratorio professionale.Si comporta bene, a patto che si usi un buon saldatore stilo stagnando bene la punta e regolando la sua temperatura a valori leggermente più elevati di quanto si farebbe con una normale brasatura.Lo ritengo un buon prodotto per quelle che sono le mie esigenze da hobbysta.
