It's a ram mount
You pay a lot more for a ram but after you get a few knock off you'll want a ram mount over the cheap fall apart brake on the first impact cheap junk. Just get a ram mount. Some cheap knock off might last if your lucky but with a ram you don't have to worry about it... if a ram can't survive the betting then the cheap knock off won't either.

Best mount
This is the best mount I’ve found for my kayak for my Garmin 93sv. Very sturdy.

Broke within 4 months of light use.
I purchased this mount this past December 2025 within 4 months the base ball that attaches to the track is already broke. I chose this mount because they are highly regarded by others. However with my experience I would recommend looking at other brands.
