These also look/sound like real pots and pans (well...a cheap set anyways), which is exactly what I wanted. My daughter hasn't raided my cookware cupboards once since we gave this to her. Overall, I highly recommend this for someone who doesn't want to go with wooden or primary/pastel colors for pots and pans. These may be listed as real cookware, but if you are trying to teach your child more than how to boil a cup and a half of water or make 1 fried egg, it's not happening, the pans are not equipped to hold much volume.
