The straps come loose. I had to modify the straps not to unloosen. Dog really likes wearing this.

We've purchased 2 of the older style harness for our very active Decker rat terrier. He broke the metal clip on the previous model. This model is much bulkier than the old. With the summer upon us, I find the extra material to be a detriment. Plus the straps are much harder to adjust. I hated this so one much that I bought a screw type titanium clip and went back to the old rig. I really hope they bring the other back as it was a perfect fit for our wicked little dog.

He wears it all day takes it off for bed time. Very sturdy. Gotten wet and still in good shape Update 1/19/20- we loved this harness to begin with . Before the accident . We currently live across the street from a K-9 officer . My dog loves other dogs and meeting them. We got home after our walk took off the leash before getting inside cause typically he walks up to the door and goes in. Today he decided to bolt across the street sniffing around this K9 officers house . We attempted to call him back and chase after him it did not work. The K9 officer at this time was let out to use the restroom and saw my dog on his property. My dog attempted to run away after noticing he didn’t want to play or be friends. The K9 bite down on my dog thankfully on the vest and did not let go. My boyfriend had to unclip the vest to get out of the hold. We checked him out after and he had no open skin. I repeat a K9 officer clamped down on this vest and my dog did not suffer any puncture wounds . My dog did not have to go to the vet. My dog has zero skin breaks. My dog is 32 pounds. We were at fault for the accident .
