What are the similar and different functions?** A: NO. As the name says, this is s rotating plotter. What rotates is the "protractor" which is that circular disk attached to the "ruler". I purchased because I like to change the degrees to match what I see on the sectional charts. This Rotating Plotter has nothing to do with the E6B. It does not make any calculation other then measuring distances and degree angles. It is a very good product BTW.
