Works really well, easy to use, and relatively easy to clean, great for fence staining too
I used it to stain about 2,000 sq ft of fence (huge fence) with a water-based polymer-forming paint, and it was a piece of cake. It was listed as for use with small jobs, so I was worried a little because this was a definitely a big job, but it did great. What would normally take weeks took a couple of days with this wonderful sprayer. I could cover a relatively large area (200 sq ft or so) quite well with a quart of paint that it takes at a time. I had another one that wasn't that good (used/wasted too much paint and when starting spraying, it sprayed too much paint unevenly). This one doesn't have this problem. The coat is even, can cover decent area, can be used for vertical or horizontal spraying, and it's relatively easy to clean (easier than the other one). Negatives: the nozzle gets clogged when the paint has time to polymerize, but the partially solidified paint is easily pulled off of the nozzle - doesn't stick to it. I haven't tried it with oil-based paints/stains, so I cannot comment on it, though it should also work with them. Overall, highly recommended

Fast and efficient.
Used this great little sprayer to stain and varnish both sides of 90 feet of new bamboo fencing. Easy set up, easy use and easy clean up. Spray adjustments for width and volume of flow are helpful. This is a great tool to make a big job quick and precise.

Definitely a product that can help time efficiency.
I restore/repurpose old furniture. I do own a large airless sprayer. but it’s only useful for very large jobs. This sprayer has worked out great for medium and small size jobs. However, there was a decent learning curve to significantly benefit from this time efficiency. If you plan to use this item often, I suggest watching a few YouTube videos and read lots of reviews with suggestions to shrink that learning curve. Once you master a few specific habits when using this item, you will LOVE it. 1. Do NOT let paint sit in the nozzle for longer than 5-10 min. The sprayer hole is very small and the paint dries quickly, resulting in a clog. The clog is super easy to clear, but takes additional time because you have to take the nozzle apart to clean. 2. Always strain your paint. I use a small metal kitchen strainer and that works fine. Again, the small hole clogs easily. 3. When finished, cleaning everything right away makes the job super easy. 4. Most paints I’ve used have needed thinning to keep the nozzle clear. I use water or flotrol, depending on the project. 5. Multiple thin coats work best and dry quickly. Be sure to wipe any runs immediately. 6. When new to the product, be patient and walk through everything, so that you can run after mastering. It is well worth the time!
