Changing Temps will affect lock
These locks are fairly easy to install and program. After a 3 month period, I have found a couple of drawbacks. Though the units have rubber gaskets on inside and outside parts, moisture is still a problem with extreme temperature fluctuations from outside/inside. Thus, we have already had a lock short out. Temperature outside 90-100+, inside around 70-75 degrees. Lock mechanism will continue to try locking even though it is not aligned properly causing shorter battery life.
