A: There are two pieces in one package.

**Q: How much does the spring compress? It says 0.954" maximum deflection but another website says it compresses down to 0.954".**
A: Compresses to .954 approx.

**Q: What is the max load of this spring?**
A: the maximum safe load is 19.90 lbs..

**Q: What is the spring constant in lb/in?**
A: Robert!  This spring was used to on a commerical roll-up door to keep tension on the rollers against the guide rails. Works good!
