If you want a smooth, professional application, the value for money here is honestly mind-blowing. You get a massive 16-pack that is priced so affordably, it feels like a steal for the quality you're getting. What I love most is the durability—these aren't just "one-and-done" disposables. They actually last a lifetime as long as you make sure to wash them out thoroughly right after use. They handle liquids well, and because of the thickness of the foam, they hold a generous amount of product without any leakage or messy dripping, giving you total control over your workspace. The 2-inch size is incredibly versatile; it’s the perfect "fits-all" dimension that works seamlessly on all types of work, whether you're covering large areas or touching up smaller, detailed surfaces. I also noticed that because they apply such a smooth, even coat, the product itself seems to dry more quickly and cleanly compared to using standard bristle brushes that might leave uneven puddles. If you’re doing any kind of crafting, painting, or finishing work, these are a total must-have. Review: As described - As described! Then laid on a folded paper towel to dry. When I used these with shellac based or oil, I wrapped in plastic wrap between coats and then tossed when finished. **Q: Are these made in the USA?** A: Packaging says locally owned with a picture of Louisiana. Does not indicate where they are manufactured...I would presume China **Q: Does the stick go into the foam or is it glued to the edge** A: The stick is in the foam and not just glued to the edge - to the beat of my recollection. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Ultimate Companion for a Flawless, Streak-Free Finish *by N***E on 6 March 2026* I’ve been using these Bates 2-Inch Foam Paint Brushes in combination with my gloss projects, and they are an absolute game-changer. Great disposable foam brushes ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work fine and are a good value compared to home stores *by G***T on 5 September 2026* I read lots of bad reviews about these and was actually just going to return them. Then I ran out of the ones I had bought from the home store so I had to break into this package. Honestly, I couldn’t tell a difference between the ones I had paid $1.50 each for and these. I was refinishing my daughter‘s cabinets, and I actually think these helped me do a better job. They were so much less expensive that I was much faster to toss them and go onto the next one instead of trying to get as much use as possible out of each applicator. I was using gel stain and there just comes a point where you have to get a clean applicator. I didn’t notice any difference in quality. These didn’t break any easier and they applied just as cleanly as the others. Holding them side-by-side, they looked identical, and the grip felt exactly the same. I found the foam brush to be the best way to apply both the paint wash and the gel stain. Having such a large package came in very handy and I would buy this set again. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bates- Foam Paint Brushes, 2 Inch, 16 Pack, Sponge Brushes, Sponge Paint Brush, Foam Brushes for Painting, Foam Brushes for Staining, Paint Sponges, Foam Brushes for Mod Podge Brushes - Mod Podge Gloss Sealer, Glue & Finish: All-in-One Craft Solution- Quick Dry, Easy Clean, for Wood, Paper, Fabric & More.
