This works great.

Make the job much easier than the clips. If you have water problems. You definitely need one. Shark bits are the best.

Worth the price, especially if you have miles of ancient cooper pipes prone to springing leaks, seemingly always around 3am. Effortlessly removes older SharkBite fittings that won't budge for that little orange clip, no matter how much you cuss. Avoids struggling with the pesky one-size only removal tongs.

I realize these seem expensive, but if you are going to use SharkBite fitting very often they are the only way to go. Both the orange plastic "C" shaped release clips and the disconnect tongs shaped like large tweezers are very hard to use, especially in cramped quarters.

It is a great tool for getting pipes out of Sharkbite fittings. It is easier than the little horseshoe shaped tool so I thought it was worth the extra money. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that I there doesn’t seem to be a way to lock the tool in the compressed position so you can have two hands to pull the fitting apart.

1/2026 works good on 3/4 pex SharkBite fitting

I really love this tool! I use it on boats with different pex style type fittings. I’ve made shims to mount onto the anvils to make them tighter for different marine fittings. It helps so much to be able to pull fittings apart that are in the bilge of a boat or in spots that are to tight to get your hand in.

This is one of those tools where the price puts you off, it's not cheap and there are other tools to remove push to connect fittings that are a lot less. HOWEVER the second you use this tool you will never pick one of those other disconnect tools up again. The jaws are self adjusting for size of pipe and fitting so just unlock the handles, brass jaw to the fitting, push the jaws on the fitting and pipe, squeeze the handles, pull off the pipe. That's it. No struggling, no slipping, no fussing. Expensive? Maybe. Worth it? Absolutely.

this tool is excellent for the SharkBite adapters very easy to work and works great seems to be well built

My only complaint is the price. Could be more affordable but they work great especially in tight conditions and where two connections are close together. Requires very little effort to take sharkbytes off.

have no idea why I waited so long to get this. the little plastic removal rings and the springy handle removal tool have their challenges and issues depending on the location of fitting. This tool is easy to use and works on more than 1 sized fitting.

I was skeptical about how good it would be but wow it comes off good. I showed my friends also and they were impressed. There's a lock on the side so I tried to see if it would hold SharkBite down and it holds it so you don't have to keep pressing the pliers. The lock I though was only for holding them closed when your not using them.
