Strong when dry but dissolves in water like it’s intended.
I used this to connect edible pastry flowers to make biodegradable fish friendly leis for a celebration of life/ burial at sea. The thread was fairly strong when dry. Breaks under too much pressure but worked well for what I needed. And dissolved beautifully as soon as it hit the water so no fish get tangled.

The stuff is fantastic it acts like regular thread but when you throw it in the washing machine it disappears it's fantastic I love it

Wonderful for basting with sewing machine!
Ideal for either basting with a long stitch or doing gathers on your sewing machine (or by hand). No need to remove the stitches - it comes out in the wash! It removes bulk from the seams and saves time (no more snipping and removing!). I always keep a spool of this water soluble thread on hand for my sewing.

Worked perfectly for my project
I bought this for Kimberbell embroidery projects that call for water soluble thread. Worked great. My machine ran as normal during use and the hread does dissolve in warm water. I did find I needed to rub the thread away a bit when wet, but all in all great!

Unconventional but works for planting!
I bought this to help hold together bunches of leaves or stems for planting propagations because I didn’t like the idea of using rubber bands. It works really well for that purpose and eventually just melts into the soil. The only thing is making sure the plants and your hands are very dry because it starts to dissolve pretty quickly. I was using cold water in the video and you can see that it only takes seconds before it starts to get slimy and break apart.

It's on a spool
I thought the photo showed the thread in a resealable bag. It's in a spool. I haven't used it yet but the idea is amazing. The past 40 years I've been doing my basting in a contrasting color so I don't accidentally seam rip the actual seam. I'm leaving a 5-star review because I believe it's going to be a game changer.
