It has a 24k gold ceramic mineral complex barrel for constant heat, and I love that is has no preset temps--meaning the user can set the temp according to her own needs. I have fine hair that requires a lower temp, which is about 330 for my hair. But it can be set as high as 450 as needed. I couldn't be happier!
