I use this for a really damaged shoulder (ac joint gone and shoulder is very unstable). Yes it smells - horrible, they all do, air it out - it will go away. However, excellent support, my physiotherapist wanted to know where i got it she liked it so much. However, the only concern i have are the two straps that run across your chest, this is the closing mechanism for the brace. The velcro will be break down the neoprene and i am not sure how long it will last being open and closed. These straps are flimsier than others i have tried so we will see.

This helped me a lot after my shoulder dislocation /injury. It keeps your shoulder steady and you can rarely find a product like this in the market. Very useful.

I'm using this for a blown AC joint after a mountain bike wreck. It's key to keep the shoulder up and as near the clavicle as possible. When the clavicle/AC gap is minimized I know I have the right position. If you use the lower set of loops and hook the X around your deltoid, this brace will give a smaller gap than any taping job I've done. And it's reasonably cool and comfortable. I have a 40" chest. Large was too big. Medium was good.
