Update several years later with new pair Saucony Women's Cohesion 14 Shoes; narrower toe box
I have worn Saucony running shoes for 40 years, and have never gone wrong with a pair. My first pair was orange and garish, but on sale at an outlet. I was a poor college student training for a 1/2 marathon, and bought what I could afford. From then on it was love at first step. Like all the other Saucony shoes in my past, the Saucony Women's Cohesion 14 Road Running Shoe (what a mouthful) is a delight. I normally wear a women's size 9, but have a wide foot, so ordered a 9.5 US in this shoe. Good fit, good arch support, no rub at the back of the heel, nice stability against ankle roll on irregular terrain, nice sole cushion for heel strike and follow through, good flexibility at the bend of the metatarsal-toe joints. Good breathability...no sweaty feet after prolonged use (I prefer wearing socks). I'm not the fastest runner/walker on the block anymore, but these shoes still allow me to get out there and try. Plus, the black/grey/blue color scheme is attractive, even when wearing with casual slacks or jeans.Update, several years later: My previous pair of Saucony Cohesion 14 shoes are ready to retire. After regular use for several years, the front sole is beginning to peel back and my great toes are pushing forward in the toe box while running, wearing this area thin. I lace the shoes loose to help widen the toe box, and agree with other reviewers that the Saucony toe box on this shoe is more narrow than in past decades (I've worn Saucony brand for running since early 1980's). To adjust for the narrower design and different manufacturer, I ordered up from a size 9.5 to a size 10. I was skeptical that a size 10 would work because I normally wear a 9.5 running shoe. Right out of the box the new size 10's feel ok. My great toes are a full index-finger width back from the front end of the toe (see attached photo). This is comfortable. However the heel area is a bit loose compared to the size 9.5. I wear socks with these shoes, but as yet don't know if the heel will slip when running uneven terrain. The photos show the old size 9.5 (grey/blue) shoes compared to the new size 10 (blue/light blue) shoes. The length difference is barely perceptible, and the new shoes show the slimmer toe box. Just be aware that you may want to size up or go to a wide size for comfort. Still a good shoe for the price.

Run 1-2 sizes small but are excellent shoes
Saucony is my #1 choice bc they last forever, provide great comfort, and have stayed consistent over the years.HOWEVER, all three of us who wear Saucony have to order 1-2 sizes larger than our normal size when buying Saucony

Perfect shoe for me .
These shoes fit me very comfortable and make my walking more stable. They're so cute, but I do wish they had a little thicker insole.

High Quality; Good Value
I bought this brand at a specialty sporting goods store 4 years ago, on the advice of an orthopedic doctor. I wear leg braces due to weakness caused by multiple sclerosis, and it has been difficult to find shoes that are supportive and also roomy enough to accommodate the braces. The shoes lasted 4 years despite nearly-daily wear. When it was finally time to replace those shoes, I wanted to get the same brand. Buying through Amazon, I was able to get two pairs for the same price I paid for one pair four years ago. I felt a little guilty for not supporting the sporting goods store, but that kind of savings is hard to pass up.I also wonder if these are "seconds" or "irregulars" that will not hold up as well. I'll let you know in four years.

Not wide enough
So 3 days ago I ordered my size7 wide like an old pair. Didn't fit, too short and narrow. So yesterday I ordered 71/2 hoping they would be wider. Not even close still missing over 1/2 inch.I would not recommend that shoe if you need wide. It's not wide at all.

Congrats to the person who designed the Future Black and the style of this running shoe!
This is the most I have spent on a running shoe ($109.95). It is suppose to be cushiony or least impact in heel. The colors really are put together in a great way without being over the top. I never thought I would get such a colorful sneaker, but it is made really nice. I like the pink laces on top. I also like the least amount of orange, which this has. It is lightweight. The thing that annoys me with a lot of sneakers brands lately is how much they make the sole stick out at the back. I just don't like that look. I was having a hard time replacing my Adidas I have had for several years and love. I couldn't find that color combo (teal and black) and without the heel sole sticking out a lot. Then I came across these Sauconys. It has the teal blue in it. The heel sole only sticks out a little and somehow works with this sneaker in style and the colors of Future Black. The heel sole also has an opening in the middle, which at first was odd to me. But it grew on me and it makes the sneaker more interesting and also the sole is less chunky looking. I did get the other color, Cherry/Black, also ... but did not like them as much. This sneaker has a thin mesh top. In the black, the outline of the toes as you walk is hardly noticeable. With the cherry color, not so. Anyways, I am getting into wearing "fashion" sneakers more-so lately as my latest fashion look.By the way, I only worn them out once for about 5 hours and they were comfy. I will run in them today for the first time and see how I run after using my Adidas for several years.Update 4-3-21: I ran in these last week for the first time and they are great. I wear a 9-1/2 usually and these are true to size.I did order the Kinvara 11's at the same time, but did not prefer how much chunkier they are. I returned them. Glad I kept the Kinvara 12.Update 4-13-21:I still like these shoes in Future Black. But I already returned the other color a while ago and it still "Return is in transit". My order history page is not update by Amazon.Amazon is poor at updating the return status' on my order history page. And past items already received by them STILL show as "Return is in transit". Poor system with proper status'.

Great shoes for arch support.
This is my 2nd pair of these shoes, I have some in black, and I highly recommend them. They have great arch support and I can wear them all day for teaching without my feet hurting.
