The zodiac spray for dogs + cats has pyrethrin not permethrin. i want to spray carpets but i want my cats to be safe. which should i use?

The aerosol is .50% permethrin. Acceptable levels for a flea/tick spray directly on the cat is .05-.1% so this is 10 times the amount. Check this out on the ASPCA website. New labels after 2017 which I have yet to find anywhere advocate that the spray is potentially fatal to cats and "not for broadcast use". Yes, indeedy.

Will I have to respray in 30 days?

No. But I have a lot of cats, and I live in the country, so I spray every room in my home, and chairs under beds any place they might have been, because they are outside pets. I have a toy yorkie that's inside and he has never had fleas. The key is to spray occasionally. The first time I used it I couldn't believe how well it works. I keep extras for when it heats up again I can redo my house. So yes it works. Highly recommend it.

How long does it take to dry

Hi there, I've used this product for some time It's drying time depends on temperature and humidity, it usually dries in less than an hour ... I agree with the first answer... keep pet off till dry..
