A: 16

**Q: Can the standby time be configured to something longer than 180 min? Maybe using the coffee link app?**
A: Why would you want it to? It is ready to go 10 seconds after power on. The longer it is in standby the more descaling it will need:

**Q: What is the depth of the machine with the electric cord attached?  thanks.**
A: 16 inches including the drip tray. I love the size and especially for all it does!!

**Q: Is the milk heated/frothed in the container with heat flowing via the connector, or is the milk "sucked" into the machine and heated/frothed there?**
A: The milk container itself does not get warm, so I believe all heating happens inside the machine.  The frothing does happen as it emits from a spout attached to the milk container.
