How long do the sensor batteries last before needing to be changed?

I have owned this product its been in constant operation 24/7 for 6 years now. My sensors have been outside ever since the day they came out of the box. Zero problems from any of the 5 sensors I have in use. I change out the batteries in each sensor twice a year to ensure that I avoid problems. So I know that the batteries are good for 6 months or more. CAUTION....PLACEMENT OF SENSORS IS CRUCIAL FOR THIS PRODUCT TO BE A USEFUL TOOL IN HOME SECURITY! It will take a bit of trial and error as the sensors are highly...well...sensitive! Be patient and they will become a valuable part of your security system.

Where can I purchase the AC adapter for the receiver?

I bought a Gemini universal adapter years ago.

Yes the transmitter I use is outdoors in the rain too.

How loud is the alarm mode?

The receiver has an "alarm" mode and a "ding dong" mode. It is also equipped with another switch that controls the pitch of the setting you choose. These options are loud, normal, and silent. Silent mode causes the light to flash only. NO MATTER WHICH SETTING YOU PREFER, I GARAUNTEE IT TO BE LOUD ENOUGH THAT IT WILL NOT BE PLEASENT ON THE EARS! Excluding silent mode obviously. And because of its range and expandable features, you can place a receiver on your night stand. Don't know abt the other answer, but if this alarm is set to loud and happens to go off when im sleeping, the first thing im gonna do is take out the sensor with my 9mm. YES THIS PRODUCT IS LOUD!!

Not worth for the money

Product claimed to be security alarm, but alarm is very even with high volume, I placed the product in ground floor and sensor in first floor when motion detects volume is very low if I am in the other side of house. We have to carry that device where ever we go to get the alarm sound. Also with this price there is no power adapter for the receiver. Not worth for the money. Product shall be improved better.

Great inexpensivesecurity or notification device

The cheapest best portable alarm I have found. I got two sensors for the price of one compared to other offers. Been using one on my front porch to alert me when I'm out on my back deck for years. Batteries last a year or more. Good for scaring off Snoopy people around your equipment you parked away from your house.

These are very effective and you can find out if animals or vehicles by just setting height of sensor. If you have not thought of it.
