This kit includes two pre-sterilized substrates: a 1-pound bag of organic, hydrated, and sterilized rye berries for creating your spawn, and a 1-pound bag of manure-based mushroom substrate to serve as the bulk substrate. The rye bag, equivalent to 1 quart in volume, features a self-healing injection port and a 5-micron filter patch to ensure optimal gas exchange. The bulk substrate, equal to 1.5 quarts, is crafted from high-quality horse manure and fortified with essential nutrients to support healthy and productive mushroom growth. To use the kit, simply inoculate the rye bag with 4cc of your favorite gourmet mushroom culture and shake to distribute evenly. Allow the rye bag to colonize at room temperature for 5 to 6 weeks. Once fully colonized, break up the mycelium in the rye bag and mix it with the manure substrate bag. Seal the bag and allow it to colonize at room temperature for another 4 to 6 weeks. Mushrooms can be grown directly in the bag or transferred to your preferred fruiting chamber for cultivation. Both substrate bags can be stored for up to 4 months at room temperature or 6 months in refrigeration, making this kit as convenient as it is effective. Out-Grow takes pride in using only organic ingredients to create high-quality mushroom substrates. This kit is perfect for both beginners and experienced growers, offering an easy and reliable way to produce mushrooms with large, healthy fruits. ## Features - Ready-to-Use Mushroom Grow Kit: Includes pre-sterilized rye grain and manure-based substrate for easy setup. - Beginner-Friendly: Perfect for new growers and experienced cultivators alike. - Convenient and Compact: Ideal for small-scale or experimental grows. - Premium Features: Grow bags include self-healing injection ports and 5-micron filter patches. - 100% Organic Ingredients: Supports large, healthy mushroom yields with fortified nutrients. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07P9C8FCB | | Brand Name | Out-Grow | | Color | red | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars (810) | | Included Components | Sterilized Rye Berries, Horse Manure Based Mushroom Substrate | | Item Package Weight | 1.04 Kilograms | | Item Weight | 1 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Out-Grow® | | Number of Pieces | 2 | | Part Number | MGK-QuickKit | | Size | S | | UPC | 616576243194 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Material:** Rye, Horse Manure - **Colour:** red - **Special features:** Self Watering - **Style:** Modern - **Planter form:** Bag ## Images ![Out-Grow Mushroom Grow Kit (Quick Kit) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71OhCGIp+cL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: If you fruit in the bag can you flush it?** A: Yes you can. After your first harvest mist heavily and close the top of the bag. Place on a shelf with the bag semi inflated and allow 2-3 weeks for your second flush to grow. **Q: How many CCs of spores should be used in the grain spawn?** A: The instructions said 4 ccs. **Q: Will this product grow majic mushroom??** A: Yes but the risk of contamination is high. I recommend the PF tech method. **Q: Can you use 2 different liquid spores in the rye bag? Or is this one type per bag?** A: No. The reason it is hermetically sealed if so you can develop the substrate for one particular spore. You have to be very careful or they will fight for dominance in the bag. The spore is gotten from any mushroom (even a porcini at the grocery store.). ## Frequently Bought Together - Mushroom Grow Kit (Quick Kit) - ‘Boomr Bag’ (5 lb) Manure-Based Sterile Mushroom Bulk Substrate | Maximum Yield Formula | Made in USA | Grow Dung-Loving Mushrooms | North Spore - Myco Labs Grower's Select Mushroom Monotub Fruiting Chamber with Filter Disks and Liner --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/338120735-out-grow-mushroom-grow-kit-quick-kit](https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/338120735-out-grow-mushroom-grow-kit-quick-kit) --- *Product available on Desertcart Saudi Arabia* *Store origin: SA* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
