A: Yes, we were able to drill a hole in the bottom to let rain water drain out. Used an electric drill without it breaking.

I really like the old man tree face. it is areal conversation started. I was afraid it wouldn't be seen on the pine tree but it is visible. We have a few squirrels that ignore the face and never found the bowl with the birdseed inside. I enjoy sitting in our backyard watching the flowers grow. It is so peaceful yet fun to check out the old man. He was very easy to attach to our tree. I think I need an entire family. Our great nieces had to go outside and figure out what was on our tree.
