What are the four surface materials as well as the black material they are attached to? does it have a strong smell/odor to it?

The blue is definitely hard rubber. The gray is the softest and I actually play that most because it’s the quietest. The black and brown are similar in feel in my opinion. The base is solid and it does not smell. I like this practice pad and would recommend it.
