Good Sized Keyboard and Mouse
Works well with Windows and Linux. It's a full size keyboard and the mouse is also a good size. One dongle that connects both the keyboard and the mouse. The mouse is larger than most keyboard+mouse wireless combos I've seen and tried. This is much more comfortable than the usual cheap wireless mice I see since most cheap wireless mouse look meant to be for portable use. There's an off button on the bottom of the mouse. Takes double A batteries and after a couple of months with it, I haven't had to replace it yet. The scroll wheel is tactile enough as are the buttons for a cheap mouse. The keyboard as well is tactile enough and spacious enough. They're full size so probably not the best for portable use but if you want a cheap full size wireless keyboard and mouse, this was the best I could find. It's good

Easy and Inexpensive Combo
I bought this to use for a convention exhibit table I set up with a MacBook Air. I plugged it in, the OS wanted to do a quick configuration and then it was done and working perfectly. The volume keys on the keyboard even control the OS volume like the native keyboard does. Comes with batteries so you don't have to hunt them down. The USB receiver fits in a little space on the battery door of the mouse for easy storage. The only complaint I have about this thing is the lack of an on/off switch for the keyboard. It takes two AAA batteries and I would like to just leave them in there when the thing is not in use and just flick a switch, like the one on the mouse. I suppose that the keyboard has such a low draw, however, that it is likely not too much of an issue. Nonetheless, I have taken the batteries out of it for storage.

Most reliable keyboard and mouse I've ever used.
I am using the DELL keyboard and mouse right now. My first experience with DELL was several years ago. Every product that I have purchased since then has performed per my expectations. They are all well priced and DELL customer service is always excellent.

Dell KM117 Wireless Keyboard - Pretty Good
Dell KM117 Wireless Keyboard This review covers only the keyboard. I haven't used the mouse, because I use a nice bluetooth mouse from elsewhere. At this price (about $18.00), it is perfectly OK to just leave the mouse in the box. I like this keyboard, despite a few missing features (missing features reason for 4 stars). This keyboard does not have: caps lock indicator, num lock indicator (no indicators - missing feature) I suspect Dell left out LED status indicators to help with battery life. Expect to buy a set of rechargeable batteries and have a charged pair ready when the batteries lose charge. The battery life varies widely, for no discernible reason, but sometimes is good for a month or more. The ideal keyboard would use bluetooth and be USB rechargeable. PROS The keyboard's layout is nice, with all the 104 standard keys in the right places. The keyboard's key feel is pretty good, but it requires a good sharp rap with every keystroke, so be prepared to adjust your typing style. The keyboard includes flip down angle tabs (the flatter stance is nice sometimes!). The keyboard is very light, but it has excellent rubber feet that keep it from moving around. The keyboard looks really great on the desktop, nice shape and design, and no wires. The keyboard's price is great (but watch for and avoid the crazy price fluctuations upward from the $15-$20 range). They sound adjustment keys are great and in a convenient place. CONS The keyboard lacks LED shift/status indicators. (the Dell KM636 (V2) version has LEDs at a couple dollars more) The keys are completely flat, but it is not a big negative. The F and J touch indicators could be a little more significant. You'll know when it loses battery because it just stops sending keystrokes (key spare rechargeables on hand). Minor negative, it doesn't have a windows key to the right of the space-bar (can live without that though) Minor negative, has a function key but doesn't implement redundant numpad keys in the main keypad, which can be advantageous for some software like music notation (avid sibelius). Because the price is so low, I bought three different styles of Dell keyboards. I like them all, but I use this style more because of its ability to lay flat. The keyboard is comfortable.

THIS INEXPENSIVE KEYBOARD AND MOUSE STARTED OUT FINE, BUT AFTER ABOUT TWO WEEKS, WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO TYPE DOUBLE LETTERS OR NUMBERS. IN ADDTION, THE BACKSPACE KEY DOES NOT WORK WELL. I CAN ONLY BACK UP ONE SPACE WITHOUT HAVING TO HIGHLIGHT AND DELETE. IT IS JUST A BASIC KEYBOARD (WIRELESS), BUT SHOULD WORK BETTER THAN THIS. I AM SO TIRED OF HAVING TO GO BACK TO FILL IN A LETTER. PASSWORDS ARE IMPOSSIBLE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS ITEM. I AM RETURNING IT ASAP.

Good Mouse, Okay Keyboard
Decent keyboard and it works. The computer found the drivers okay and everything works. The issue I have with it is that the keys are too close together making it difficult to type. The texture on the keys also makes them slippery. Smooth keys with a glossy feel to them are much easier to use. The mouse is really nice though. I would probably buy something different. Dell's standard wired keyboard and mouse that ship with their new computers is very nice. They just need to make a wireless version of them which is what I thought this product was.

The best wireless keyboard I have ever used.
Works flawlessly, I have not had any communication errors or typing lags. I have tried a couple other wireless keyboards and they all have had issues, not this Dell keyboard though. It has a good quality feel to it, it feels very solid but not heavy, which is important in a wireless keyboard. The mouse also works prefect, it has a nice feel to it, good construction, not a cheap flimsy plastic like some other inexpensive wireless mouse that I have used.

Review after using it for 5 Years!
Writing this review after using it for 3 months. Good product, Elegant look, Protruding keys, especially for the price. But the mouse scroll stopped responding after 3 months! 3 batteries are in included with the product. To operate you need one AA size battery for the mouse and two AAA size battery for keyboard. Some Drawbacks: 1) Keyboard has no Caps Lock LED indicator on it 2) Keyboard lacks an on/off switch, and a few keys are sometimes sticky to me. 3) Keyboard and mouse both has only one receiver and because of that if your mouse stops working after a year or so... you need to buy the same Dell model mouse again which supports 2.4 GHz wireless receiver. Edit: Writing this review after using it for 5 years! it served me perfectly for about 5 years without any issues. At some point, the product suddenly disappeared from Amazon and was marked as discontinued. Interestingly, it started reappearing again around September 2025. But only in very small quantities (2–3 pieces at a time, with long gaps in between). Out of curiosity (and trust in this keyboard and mouse), I bought it again in September 2025. This unit I received was manufactured in 2021, so now its about 4 years old. The outer box had a slight yellowish tint from age, but the keyboard and mouse inside were absolutely clean, scratchless, and in brand new condition. This made me wonder if these are older stock or possibly refurbished, but either way, the product itself works flawlessly. Now, about the usage: Build & Quality: Average quality plastic, but very durable. My old set lasted 5 years, which is more than I expected at this price range. Typing Experience: Keys are well spaced with a good tactile feel. They are not ultra sensitive, so you do need to press a bit firmly, but overall comfortable for long typing sessions. Features: Has a dedicated Sleep button which is very convenient for desktops. There’s also a low battery indicator which is handy. Missing Feature: No lights for Num Lock or Caps Lock, which I sometimes miss. For the price segment of ₹1300–₹1500, this combo is honestly amazing. it’s reliable, functional, and great for everyday use. If you want a no nonsense wireless keyboard and mouse that just works and lasts, the KM117 is still a solid choice.
