Siglent Technologies SDS1102CML+ Digital Storage Oscilloscope, 100 MHz

I am Blown away by the quality of this product. I put off buying an oscilloscope for a long time, due to the amount of budget/ beginner scopes out there. After weeks of extensive research i finally found this scope. within 24 hours of discovering this scope I bought it and i'm very happy i did. Everything about this screams high quality, It came in very good packaging and was easy to set up. the button clicks feel well made, the screen quality is very high quality. both the probes came in their own bags and seem good. it was well calibrated and ready to use right out of the box. I couldn't ask for a better scope for 300 dollars and siglent will be my first choice from here on out! I highly recommend buying this if you are looking for a high quality scope that is budget friendly.

After using this for a couple of weeks, everything works as expected. The user interface is intuitive enough, but you will have to spend some time learning it. This is neither their cheapest model or the most expensive. But 100Mz response and 1GS/sec sampling is enough for most uses. The only complaint I have - is installing the EasyScopeX software, which allows you to control the scope from your computer. You FIRST have to install TWO other programs (1) Net Frame and (2) the software driver which is part of the NI-VISA program that has to be installed. It's explained in the EasyScopeX installation guide, but you WILL have to read it. I have come to appreciate the "auto" mode that automatically chooses the settings and stabilizes the signal. It works flawlessly everytime. The first thing I did was look at some PWM (pulse width modulation) on a Coast Polysteel 600 flashlight (the scope probe was hooked up to a light-to-voltage sensor). Great service from Amazon, as usual. The first scope was DOA due to software issues. The second one was a keeper. A slight learning curve in the beginning, with lots of measurement modes. Small and lightweight with decent probes. I would recommend this scope for basic use.

This is an amazing 'scope for the money. The controls are very smooth and have the feel of much more expensive equipment. The automatic functions are handy especially for anyone new to using an oscilloscope. The unit came with two excellent probes. The plastic case might not survive rough handling but that is hardly a fault of the device! The calibration is quite good but perhaps not up to laboratory grade. For the money, this has to be one of the best oscilloscope values ever!

You can tell by the reviews that there is a common problem here. Mine locked up on the logo screen like many others. Went online for help and sounded to me like they knew exactly what was wrong. Since it was out of warranty they wanted $244 dollars to fix it. No more Siglent products in my lab…ever.

This scope is perfect for the hobbyist and the repair professional. It is amazing compared to my old analog unit with the CRT. The scope has LAN capability and USB write for storing images. Built in measurement of frequency and voltages show on screen with the image. Comes with 2 probes, the documentation is a little lacking and the firmware on some of these models is said to be hackable if you network it.

This replaces an ancient Tektronix scope that was on its last legs. Excellent display. Very easy to download a picture of the displayed wave forms, except that I wish the pictures were not in the .bmp format. A .png format would be better. Very easy and intuitive to use, even for one who hasn't used digital scopes very much. Came with 2 100MHz probes.

I had the opportunity to compare this scope with the more expensive four channel Siglent SDS1104X-U, and wound up going with that one. These are complicated devices, and the user interface on the X (and E) series scopes is a lot more user-friendly. If you want a Siglent, and can stretch your budget, the X is worth the difference.

This Equipment has an bandwidth of more than 200 Mhz.. Great Screen resolution. Fast triggering and Good high resolution frequency responses. It provides easy to use software and the interface is very user friendly yah it doesn't provide protocol decoding which I needed but which is a downside but Comparing to Hentek toys which has a lot of features like the large mem waveform captures I still Choose siglent because they are really dedicated in quality..And it's better to choose a dedicated tool rather than going on something which claims on doing everything but is good in nothing.It does the Job which it is intended to do well however the probes are not that good but the waveform capture is awesome and as electrical and electronic enginear will prefer this to all the professionals and hobbiests.spend some more and Buy a real DSO not toys. Its really a best deal for this price because price has been dropped by the supplier right now.

日本語レビューが皆無でしたので参考になればと思い長文ですが気づいたことなどを書かせていただきます(PC側でキャプチャーした画像も参考に載せておきます)。LANによる接続はまだ検証しておりません。 自分はオシロのまったくの初心者ではなく、PCなどもオークションなどで購入した中古ばかりというジャンカーの端くれです。英語アレルギーも特になく、マニュアル類も機械翻訳などを活用して自分で翻訳(要約)することにあまり抵抗を感じないような人間なので、そこのところを理解した上でお読みください。 (今まで新品の製品を購入して修理とかのお世話になった記憶がほとんどなく、保証面にはあまり重きを置いていません) 購入時期は先月(3月)のタイムセールにて約18kで購入しました。 入門者向け低コストの2ch/8bit機ですが外部トリガー入力やLANが有り、100MHz帯域幅、1GSa/sの機種としてはダントツに安かったです(但し3年保証などは無し。正規代理店から購入すれば保証はありますが、価格は50kを超えます)。 R社やO社など日本支社があり情報やアフターサービスの面で安心できそうな機種も色々比較検討しましたが、ある程度信頼できる信号発生器も同時に欲しかったので予算の都合でこれにしました。 欲を言えば4ch機や電圧軸の量子化誤差などを考えると身近になってきた12bit機も気になりましたが、いずれまた欲しくなるのでもう少し技術面や価格が熟れてからでも遅くはないかなと... Muy buen osciloscopio. Llegó en buenas condiciones. Lo he usado durante dos semanas y todo bien

I had a Tek analog Oscilloscope before that I bought on ebay for $10 when I was a poor student. That was vertically unstable, but somewhat managed to show the wave forms if I banged on it's head several times. It was time for me to get a working one for sure. Since I do not have a ton of budget to spend on a scope just for home use I started looking for used ones again on ebay. However I needed at least 100Mhz because of the application I'm using this for. This scope is actually cheaper than buying a used 1990's 100MHz Tektronics/HP/etc digital scope on ebay. Even then if you want to actually use those scope's storage, you will need 3.5" floppy disks. As far as I have used it for the past few days I have had it, it is very nice and works, AND I do NOT need 3.5" floppy drives! It has a built in NIC and USB which I have not yet tested. I did download the latest software from Siglent website but have not installed it yet. I have had no issues with this and I'm quite happy, maybe it's just mostly because this is a huge upgrade from the old CRT ones I have been using before in the past.
