It Kept My Venus Flytrap Alive...So Far
I have no clue what I'm doing with my sons carnivorous plant other than using distilled water and feeding it these cubes over the winter. I don't have much of a green thumb but I'm proud to say a half of one of these cubes a week has been doing it good. The cubes kind of fall apart easily and are the consistency of jello but my Venus flytraps are small and it slides in better that way. I assume at the rate we are going, unless I wake up one day and it doubles in size, this jar should last quite a long time!

Seems like it works! No bugs in Alaska in January!
This item was taken and dissolved by my Venus fly trap and completely gone when the trap reopened. Soon after the plant bloomed.

Plants were small so I cut the food in half
The plant seems to like the food

Seems great for the plant!
My Venus fly trap seems to love it lol 😂 I will say since iv been feeding her this food she looks so much healthier. I love saving Walmart plants and we know how hard that can be. I’d definitely recommend this food.

Nope
Definitely do not buy. This severely burned and/or killed all carnivorous plants it was fed to.

Okay for flytraps, AVOID for pitcher plants!
Works pretty well for feeding my flytrap - they are able to digest the food in about a day. They do leave an unsightly residue behind. However I would recommend NOT using this for pitchers plants such as nepenthes. I fed two large pitchers and the food ended up getting moldy and the pitchers are now dying back. Next time I will get mealworms or another option to feed my carnivorous plants.

Effective and gentle—no black traps!
This is my second time using these jelly cubes for my Venus Flytrap, and I’m very pleased with the results. The cubes are small and delicate, making them easy to place in the traps. My plant has had no issues "digesting" them; unlike some other foods I was worried about, none of the traps have turned black or died after eating. It takes a few days for the traps to process the food, and then they open right back up looking healthy. I will definitely continue to buy this for my plant!

The best carnivorous plant food outside of bugs
This stuff is amazing. They’re like little gelatin cube made out of the same stuff the plants eat when consuming bugs. I use mine on a drosera Capillaris by cutting a cube piece off that’s just smaller than the size of a leaf. The plant consumes it within 24-48 hours with usually nothing left behind. Within a few days the plant is bursting with new growth and looks even healthier. Cannot recommend enough
