Should I be using these during the winter season when we are not using the air conditioner? Also, can this tablet fit in a 3/4 drain line?

Thank you for reaching out to us, and we appreciate your interest in HVAC Guys Flow Tabs.

During winter, a Flow Tab would not be needed as when your system is in "heating" mode, there wouldn't be moisture dripping into the drain pan. However, when using your system in the summer in "cooling" mode, moisture in the air will condense on the cold coil and drip into the pan, which can cause mold/odors/slime to grow in your pan. This is where you would use the Flow Tabs. The Flow Tabs can fit a 3/4 inch line; for best results, you must place the tab on the drain pan, not inside the line.
For your reference, the Flow Tab 3 Ton is 1 inch in diameter and 1/2 inch in height.
