I use this dock every day for both work and personal setups, switching between computers regularly, and it’s been a solid part of my setup. It handles multiple connections well and makes it easy to move between devices without constantly reconnecting everything. For productivity, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. One important tip: make sure you use HP Support Assistant (or HP’s driver tools) to keep the dock firmware and drivers updated. That seems to help overall stability. The only issue I’ve noticed is occasional screen flickering. It happens briefly for a few seconds and only once every few days, so it hasn’t been a major problem, but it’s worth mentioning. Pros Great for switching between multiple computers Reliable for daily use Simplifies multi-device setups Works well once drivers are updated Cons Occasional screen flicker (infrequent but noticeable) Bottom Line If you need a dock for a multi-device setup, this works well and is reliable for everyday use. Just keep the firmware updated and be aware of minor display flicker.

Item was delivered fast and works as I expected it to. Now I can dock my computer and use multiple screens.

I was really excited that I found this product on Amazon for such an amazing value as it's the only dock that seems to be approved for my laptop. However, when it arrived, I quickly realized that it was a refurbished item. There were several surface level defects on the dock itself and it wasn't in the manufacturer packaging but determining if I purchased new or used, I merely took photos and went on with it. The real issue (and the reason for the low rating) is the fact that it didn't last for 24 hours before it began having issues. Whilst there was no installation instructions included in the package, I did find setup instructions online and found it fairly simple to get it up and running. The first day it ran without any issue and supported both of my external displays with ease. On day two, my second monitor flickered several times even after checking all cords and going so far to completely uninstall and reinstall it. Over the course of the day, the issues decreased in frequency, so I (again) tried to look over it. However, as we're on day three WE HAVE MAJOR ISSUES! Now, my primary monitor is flickering several times per minute. I have double checked the drivers for my laptop and the docking station, run updates to the PC and checked connections again and nothing seems to work. This docking station will allow you to plug and play two external monitors but it will not do so dependably. If your experience is like mine, you'll find yourself having to power down the one that decides to flicker each day and be using a single additional display (or as today's case warranted, having to completely bypass the docking station to prevent your laptop screen from flickering incessantly). This has been money wasted!

Works, but need reboots quite often due to disconnect with monitors. Does not appear to have newer drivers to load to fix these type of problems. I see newer models are available -

Using the dock to set up my laptop and computer screen. Works great.

Provided with US power adapter, not UK adapter. Even when I used a UK IEC C5 cable, the base would light up but it would not charge my HP laptop. Would NOT recommend. Returned.
