They worked fine for me
I am using these drill bits to make holes in plastic hobby boxes. In this application they work just fine. I am not sure how well they work in other applications but they appear to be well made.

Worthless step drill bits
These bits are completely worthless. I would give them zero stars, if I could. They do not cut through steel at all. This was a complete waste of money. Maybe they're okay for plastic or fiberglass, but they do not work at all for steel. I say they may be okay for plastic or fiberglass because I don't know and haven't tried. I bought them to cut a 3/4 hole in an electrical box because the knockout was not on the side that I needed it. My regular drill bit set goes up to half inch. I had no trouble with my drill bits getting the hole up to half inch. I tried with a step cutters at various sizes with zero reults. Please don't waste your money on this garbage product.

Good
Does the job. Three different sizes. The biggest size bit didn’t fit my impact but the others did even though they all looked like they had the same diameter input. Made out off great material and cut through metal and aluminum like butter.

A swing and a miss.
For the price they work I guess. What these are for is if you need to drill a couple holes and don’t want to spend money on a decent step bit.I was able to drill two holes in stainless and almost two in sheet steel before one stopped cutting in sheet steel. Went to the other narrow bit with more steps on it and was able to complete the hole, but immediately I felt like it wasn’t as sharp as the first. I never tried the big triangle one. What was weird is it cut the stainless like butter and seemed to quit on the sheet steel. Maybe the two stainless holes dulled it, but that doesn’t explain the second not really cutting the sheet steel without some effort. Also the coating wore off pretty quick.Lesson here is just because something looks like something else that doesn’t mean it is the same. For cheap step bits I still like HF and I have never owned a serious high dollar quality step bit so I can’t comment on those.3 stars for me meaning average.

Good Set of Step Drill Bits
Step drill cone bits were ordered to increase drill holes without splitting or damaging holes in wooden crafts I make. I made a bell ringer stand without screws, nails or glue and needed to slightly increase drilled holes for dowel wedge. Attached photos show before in raw wood and after black staining. Step drill cone bit works faster than my hand rasp filing in holes.
