Great thermostat with very normal design (a good thing). Installation is easy. All connections are standard. The screen is particularly attractive and easy to read due to the large numbers. The screen lights up a nice shade of indigo blue for a few seconds when touching any button. At rest, the screen shows information, but is not lit. This thermostat has a compartment for 2 AAA batteries but using the batteries is optional -- the thermostat takes power from the AC unit, and the batteries are there for backup in case the power is off at the AC unit (e.g. during a power outage or AC unit maintenance). Appearance-wise, it's good looking with a clean modern white design. One nice touch is that the thermostat is perfectly silent and doesn't click when commanding to turn on/off the AC unit. If you like your thermostat to be normal and easy-to-use, this is the one.

These thermostats are my go to for new installs and changeouts. They are easily installed and customers like the well lit LED screen. I’ve installed a ton of these things and only have had one fail after a little more than a year after install. I’m satisfied with that for the cost and I always carry a box in my van. Only thing the product doesn’t come with batteries so I care a large pack of those as well. Great product overall though.

Very nice basic thermostat. No wifi, programming, subscription , or app on your phone needed. Just a basic set the temperature and it works. It sets up easily and holds the temperature well. Be sure to read both the installation and user instructions. There is information in the installation instructions that are not in the user manual that is necessary for setting up and using the thermostat. Although you nay not need/want to change the factory settings.

Great stylish basic thermostat. Works great for me. The only downside is that it goes through batteries fast but if you use rechargeable ones that are lower voltage then the backlight is very dim.

ELECTECK Digital Thermostat I was looking for one to replace my heat only Thermostat in my RV 2 wire system in black this was a up grade from the old one the only thing you must do is use this with the three triple a battery,s hook the wire to w & b and your go to go . When you set the swing look how in the booklet and set it to - 4 this will keep it cycling off and on longer . The maker of this says that it will not work in rv's but it works well also i have seen others say they have used it in RV 'S . Run time will turn on sooner and turn off sooner then you old style which turns on at a lower temp and ran longer to get back up to a hot temp you set . would buy it again . hope this helped

This digital thermostat replaced my "analog type" thermostat. My (previous) "analog type" thermostat had an internal metal coil which I found to be very inaccurate. I find this digital thermostat to be much more accurate. Its measurement and display of the current temperature is more accurate. The temperature (when my furnace turns on and off) is more accurate. - - - - This digital thermostat has a CALIBRATION feature allowing me to displace the current room temperature up/down (a maximum of) four degrees. I had to adjust the "current room temperature" display, down four degrees. Meaning; Without this CALIBRATION adjustment, this digital thermostat showed 74 degrees when my room was actually 70 degrees. See page eight of the "Operation Manual - 701" > CALIBRATION Setting. This "CALIBRATION Setting" is very useful. - - - - Operation Note: This thermostat's digital display has very helpful backlighting. The first time you press the Up or Down button, the backlighting turns on. Then press the Up or Down button (again) to make temperature (or other) adjustments. After about ten seconds (of no usage), the backlighting will automatically turn off. - - - - Note: I only use this thermostat for heat (on/off). Not for fan control. Not for cooling. I have a 2022, single stage furnace (used for heat only). My 2022 furnace has a (contemporary) digital controller/display.

Functional replacement for the analog Suburban thermostat in my RV. I installed a 12V DC to 3V step down transformer and soldered leads onto the battery terminals to hard wire it to the RV's 12V system to avoid needing to use two AAA batteries. Works great. Only wish they had a 12V DC version of this thing to make this kind of install simpler. Otherwise, it comes with clear and simple instructions and installs quite easily. Does both Celsius and Fahrenheit, it's easy to switch between them.

Was easy enough to install by being careful with being sure wires went to correct location. Worked well for heating, but I had a problem with the cooling operation and had to call a HVAC technician. The previous thermostat was not installed correctly with a problem of wires in the furnace mismatched. Older programable thermostat was not reliable, maybe because of the wiring problem. The technician initially advised against using an unknown brand but he replaced it again after correcting wiring problem caused by the previous installation. saying it looked like a OK unit. The installation manual seems to be well written, but the operation manual is not very good and takes a bit of thinking to understand. Best feature over other brands is the large display of both room temperature and set temperature.
