Panasonic WER224S7398 Beard Comb Attachment

Good value replacement. Original comb broke. Use care in removing for cleaning. Fits perfectly.

This is, in fact, the replacement comb attachment for the ER224, which is identified on my boyfriend's model as ER224 RC (and, as others have noted, is the same as the ER224S), and appears to be exactly the same part as the original. The second picture is the one that is incorrect, the first picture is correct (at the time of this review). Everyone has already noted how fragile the attachment is and I would bet anything that every broken attachment out there is broken in the same place -- bottom-left and/or bottom-right corner of the back of the comb (the side with the smiley face-shaped bottom). This can happen if you drop the trimmer comb-side down or your girlfriend borrows the trimmer and removes or replaces the comb too forcefully :-). When installing the replacement, take a few minutes to lift off the blade attachment, which I'll also wager you've never done before. It just lifts toward you and pops off. The insides will be full of hair. Surprise! An old toothbrush and compressed air work great. A spring holds the two blades together and can be easily removed and reinstalled if you want to take the opportunity to clean and then add a fine watchmaker's lubricant. Seriously, this isn't a timepiece. Set the blade height to the lowest setting (1) and slide the new comb gently over the slots until it snaps into place. We've had this trimmer for almost 10 years -- I'll replace the combs as many times as I have to until the thing finally dies.

Fine, for the moment. This is the 2nd replacement of this part--it is rather brittle, fragile. I believe the flaw is in the original design, so not much you can do about it. The previous replacement lasted for 7 years, so... acceptable I guess.

en otros lados venden parecidas pero esta le queda perfecamente dicen algunos que es mas fragil pero yo aun conservo la que traia de fabrica que se rompio y es la misma textura y el mismo nivel de dureza la recomiendo mucho para revivir su maquina yo compre dos por si las dudas

quedó perfecta lo malo es que pedí dos y me mandaron 1 mal, por desgracia por estar limpiando no la encontré a tiempo para hacer la devolución

Perfecto remplazo para el que trae la rasuradora de fabrica y ya que es la única pieza que se necesita cambiar, ahorra dinero al no tener que cambiar ppr completo la rasuradora

Es un poco más delgado que el original pero se adaptó bien a mi rasuradora. Ayudó a extender la vida útil de la misma; fue una buena compra y considero pedir un par más para tenerlas de repuesto. Llegó antes de lo esperado y en buen estado.
