I am I am a huge fan, it keeps the tank clear and much cleaner. I do add it whenever I replace filters and found i only need to clean my tank only twice a year. **Q: Does it work for a beta fish ?** A: I have no idea regarding beta fish. I have snapping turtles and it didn't do anything except keep their water cloudy. **Q: What's the difference between this and Stress Zyme?** A: Unfortunately I don’t know **Q: What happens if you put too much in the tank?** A: Nothing will happen but as long as you can use it weekly to eliminate the odor it should get rid of the bacteria and establish cleaner, clearer water. I erred on the lower dose side since my pond is so small but given the reviews and the instructions I expected it to work within afew days or weeks.
