From the manufacturer Adventure calls but you don't have four hours or the desire to set up hundreds of pieces One Deck Dungeon is a card game "roguelike" — a dungeon delve that is different every time, difficult to survive, with a character you build up from scratch. The deck consists of various foes to combat and other perils from the dungeon. Each card, though, depicts both the obstacle to overcome and the potential rewards for doing so. When you defeat a card, you claim it as either experience, an item, or a skill, tucking it under the appropriate side of your character card to show its benefits. The longer you take exploring the dungeon, the deeper you'll delve, and the difficulty will scale up quickly! If you make it far enough, you'll have to fight the dungeon boss. The game itself was shrink wrapped with the proper dice (as in my picture and not like the product photo dice). I wish the product pictures were up to date because the dice you receive are better and might make more people interested in buying the game if they were pictured. One deck dungeon is a solo game but if you combine 2 boxes can be played 2 player. It’s a fun little dungeon crawler and is frequently mentioned as a great solo board game. I recommend this game and the delivery time was next day delivery. I sleeved the smaller playing cards and everything still fits in the small game box. <3

A: The original rules are specifically designed for solo (or 2-person) play -- no variant is needed. **Q: Are these the "plastic " cards from kickstarter upgrade or normal card stock?**
A: Mine were normal card stock.

**Q: How's the replay value on this game?**
A: Great replay value. The mix of different characters you can be, the random dungeons you enter each game, and traps you have to avoid make every game different. You have different levels of dungeons you can enter. Easy ( which is a relative term because it's not very easy), regular and hard. There is even a campaign mode where you gain different starting abilities depending on how well you did on your last game. Four different challenge tiers where you can play the game as a novice all the way up to fearless. Plenty of replay value in this game. One of those games where you want to play just one more time.

**Q: Is this version 1.5 (the second printing)? The back of the box is marked below the intro paragraph if it is.**
A: This is 1.0.  Version 1.5 will be the 2nd printing of the game,  which comes out mid-May I believe.

A brilliant little box of a game. Hard as nails to beat but what fun ! I wish those who make RPGs to take note that it is not the huge board, hundreds of pieces, cards, dice etc that really makes an enjoyable game, it can be done with a small scale in a small box ! The first couple of tries might be a bit confusing, afterwards you will keep coming back and even try to make your hero stronger ( in Campaign mode) because this little beauty has a long life span. The additional attraction: it is great, if not greater , it can be a soloist haven. Cannot wait for the expansion ...not that it will be needed for quite a while. Ten out of ten.
