Review: High quality, but made in USA - It adds to the cost of your RO water, but it really produces great tasting water when combined with the rest of the Apec system and UV sterilizer. Worth it to have a really good supply of cold water and ice as a primary refreshment. Review: USED DRINKING WATER FILTER!!! BEWARE!!! - Item is definitely used. No packaging, dirty with water residual already on the filter cap and the protective yellow caps have been put upside down!! It's amazing a "drinking" water filter could be sold as used. ## Features - Increase ph level of the water by adding calcium carbonate mineral back into the water - Made of 100% US-Made high purity calcium carbonate to effectively neutralize acidity - Friction-welded construction with no glues or binder to provide reliable, no-leak seal - 3/8 inch quick connection fittings for easy leak free installation - A perfect add on filter to compliment any existing or new ro Drinking water systems - (filter only) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01MAT5CW1 | | Best Sellers Rank | #158,951 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #348 in Under-Sink Water Filters | | Brand | APEC WATER | | Brand Name | APEC WATER | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 59 Reviews | | External Testing Certification | ANSI, NSF | | External testing certification | ANSI, NSF | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00851001007235 | | Included Components | FI-PHPLUS-QC-38 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 35.6D x 10.2W x 10.2H centimeters | | Item Type Name | APEC Water Systems Us Made - 10" High Purity PH+ Calcium Carbonate Alkaline Filters With 3/8" Quick Connect - Replacement Filter Only (FI-PHPLUS-QC-38) | | Item Weight | 630 g | | Item weight | 630 g | | Manufacturer | APEC Water Systems | | Manufacturer Part Number | FI-PHPLUS-QC-38 | | Material | High-purity | | Material Type | High-purity | | Model Number | FI-PHPLUS-QC-38 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Benefits | Increases pH Level | | Product benefits | Increases pH Level | | Product dimensions | 35.6D x 10.2W x 10.2H centimeters | | UPC | 851001007235 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **External testing certification:** ANSI, NSF - **Item weight:** 1.39 Pounds - **Material:** High-purity - **Product benefits:** Increases pH Level - **Product dimensions:** 35.6D x 10.2W x 10.2H centimeters ## Images ![APEC Water Systems FI-PHPLUS-QC-38 US Made 10" Alkaline High Purity pH+ Calcium Carbonate Filter with 3/8" Quick Connect For Reverse Osmosis (For Upgraded 3/8" Output, Replacement Filter Only) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71f-UUSkibL.jpg) ![APEC Water Systems FI-PHPLUS-QC-38 US Made 10" Alkaline High Purity pH+ Calcium Carbonate Filter with 3/8" Quick Connect For Reverse Osmosis (For Upgraded 3/8" Output, Replacement Filter Only) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71fdEPEX9wL.jpg) ![APEC Water Systems FI-PHPLUS-QC-38 US Made 10" Alkaline High Purity pH+ Calcium Carbonate Filter with 3/8" Quick Connect For Reverse Osmosis (For Upgraded 3/8" Output, Replacement Filter Only) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71FzYwK8MpL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality, but made in USA *by G***K on 19 December 2018* It adds to the cost of your RO water, but it really produces great tasting water when combined with the rest of the Apec system and UV sterilizer.
