They are really easy to install and easy to use. Pros and cons based on my experience are listed below so you can make your own mind about it. As for me, I would definitely buy them again. Pros: - They are adjustable, just cut the plastic to the size you need. - Good for little kids to stay out of the cabinets. Even when I leave one open my daughter loves to walk by and close it herself (she is 20 months). - Very practical so when you only have one hand available, you still can open and close them easily. - Easy to use for everyone. They are super easy for grandma to use. I bought other latches for which you need to bend down and use two hands to unlock and they were hard on grandma's back. She is so happy that I switched to these ones. - Easy to install. - Can be installed in various surfaces. I used them for the toilets, dressers, stove, and cabinets (see photos). I am also planning on using them for the fridge, washer, and drier once the kids are older. - Can be removed without leaving any residue behind. To remove you can just use a hair dryer and something flat (I used a butter knife to avoid leaving marks). (2) Prior to removing you have to make sure the latches are closed, otherwise they will become unusable. I removed one while open and I couldn't close it again. (3) Once you remove them for the first time, the part where you adjust the length gets a little lose so it is easier to open.
