Very clean install. *by M***M on January 6, 2024* I used these to mount a pair of Polk Signature Elite ES10 speakers as surround speakers. They are rated for up to 10 lbs, and the speakers each weigh 6 lbs. If you are pushing the 10# limit and using the extended length bracket like I did, you might want to think twice. For my installation, I used these mounts on the wall beside the speakers and used the longer of the two included brackets. There was some sag on the speaker after tightening the bracket, so I had to aim the speaker higher than intended, tighten, and then allow the speaker to "sag" down to the desired angle. Not ideal, but after some trial and error, it worked. If someone were to bump the speaker, I am certain the mount would move/bend/break. I did install the mounts through the wall into wood studs, and the mount to wall is very secure. I had looked for a mount that was more secure, but this seemed to be the best I could find that used the threaded mounting option.
