How long does it last in a pool? or do you have to drain it out?

These dyes will fade with bleach or pool shock. We mix them with our heavy bleach soaps for house washing and the bleach will wash out the color quickly.

Can I pour this in my sump discharge and see it 50 feet at the end?

I think that you should. It really goes a long way from what I wa told.
