Portable Presentation Lectern, Mahogany

I was more than just surprised at this product for this price. Stunned is the correct word. The lectern is easy to put together in 4 simple steps. The instructions are clear, with colored diagrams, and written by a native English speaker who has thought through how to assemble the product. The quality control of the parts appears to be exceptional and the completed lectern is solidly constructed, easily balanced, and easy to adjust. It is just the right weight to transport easily and can be quickly broken into two pieces. The Mahogany finish is also very attractive.

This is a nice stand that adjusts very well for different heights, and firmly holds those heights. It is more of a portable unit so I wouldn't necessarily recommend leaning on it, but it holds a notebook or a couple legal pads side by side well enough. The lip is high enough to easily hold pencils, remotes, etc., but not high enough to stack two thin books without the top one possibly sliding off onto the floor. The construction of the lectern itself is pretty simple (yes, you have to put it together). I believe it has everything you need to put it together included. Again, the pieces seem to be a very high quality and very sturdy.

So, first I'll tell you that two guideholes were slightly off on the bottom of the reader surface. Erica with Oklahoma Sound was fantastic, we spoke shortly on the phone, I sent her images of my concerns (they like all companies need verification, for themselves and for insurance, etc...) and they are sending me a replacement. Now, besides the fact of the misaligned holes, this unit is VERY sturdy, in fact more than I'd hoped it would be, I'm confident the replacement will be fine. Reviews on similar products mention how their product is not very stable (not Oklahoma Sound, another company) so, I was hoping this would be, IT IS! It's construction is fantastic. I'm an Orthodox Christian, do my thrice daily prayers and often need somewhere to rest a book(s), no longer an issue. I'm sure I'll love using this for a long time. Frankly, besides it being a great product, their fine customer support won me over. It's VERY difficult these days to find competent support, and companies that will stand by their product. So, if that is ever your concern, trust me, they are there to help. BRAVO!

I really like the overall usefulness of this. I'm a teacher and this is so convenient for me to teach from. It's lightweight but still durable. The quality of the wood top looks great as well. The only 2 issues I have are even after screwing everything together snug, the bottom portion where the feet criss-cross is still a little wobbly and you can't really lean on it...my students like to hang on it (regardless of how many times I've asked them not to) when they stand at it, and the top portion slides down causing deep scratch marks. Other than that, it's great and gets the job done without being a huge waste of space

I bought this to use in two classes I facilitate so, I carry it from my car to one. Then I put it back in my car, go to a different location and do the same thing. I used to use a music stand that was available but that was hard on the arms if you rest them on the front edge. This one has a wider curved front edge so it's much more comfortable for that. It's heavy-duty without being difficult to carry. It adjusts easily. The metal legs and post are very strong so no worries about the getting bent, and the top is attractive in terms of edging and vernier. I'm very pleased with it and the price was very reasonable. It was easy to assemble, as well. The only thing I would have liked that it doesn't have is the ability to tilt the top to different angles. Other than that, it's great.

I was impressed by the quality of the stand, this is not a cheaply made product, you can tell it is very well made. It is very light weight easy for a 5'4 female to carry from room to room. I put it together in about 15 minutes. Instruction were super easy to read and everything you need to put together comes with the stand (no screwdriver needed). I placed my laptop to show how spacious it is. I expeceted the top to be smaller but it is the perfect size. Highly recommend this product

Works for what I wanted. I am an artist and ordered this so that I could work on 16x20 canvas paintings standing up. It has enough of an angle so I can look directly at my painting while I work which was exactly what I wanted. Only complaint it that there is a considerable wobble back and forth and one of the stabilizing pegs at the bottom falls out if I pick it up to move it because the portion where the other pegs screw in isn't there. Still, works for my purpose and the price was right

More than meet my expectations for the price. Very happy with it. Sturdy, easy to assemble. Holds my unabridged Merriam-Webster Dictionary, as well as my National Geographic Atlas (not at the same time, of course). Good for home use if you have either of these books and need a sturdy, large bookstand. I am sure it would hold larger and heavier books, as well. Made of metal; no plastic.

Da meine Schulungen, Meetings, Vorträge und Vorlesungen seit einiger Zeit via Videokonferenz stattfinden, und das noch einige Zeit so weitergeht, entschied ich mich, mich teilweise wieder an ein Rednerpult zu begeben da ich so freier kommunizieren kann als im Sitzen. Dazu habe ich mir dieses Rednerpult bestellt und bin auf den ersten Eindruck hin rundum zufrieden: Die Optik in Mahagoni ist schlicht-schön und wirkt nicht billig, die Auflage am Ende des Pultes abgerundet und dezent. Dadurch rutschen Blätter nicht herunter und man hat gleichzeitig eine kleine Auflage für den Handballen um ggf. noch ein Mini-Tablet zu bedienen oder Ähnliches. Die Neigung des Pultes ist nicht verstellbar, wie beschrieben. Das lies mich zunächst skeptisch bleiben, ich stelle aber fest dass die Neigung genau in dem dezenten Winkel vorhanden ist, den ich als angenehm empfinde. Die Höhenverstellung ist einfach aber zweckmäßig und leichtgängig. Der Standfuß wirkt klein, ist aber ausreichend. Vorteil: Raumsparend. Durch die sauber verstellbaren 4 Beinchen lässt sich ein Wackeln des Pultes erfolgreich vermeiden. Das Pult ist die „leichte Ausführung“ eines Rednerpultes, je nach persönlicher Vortragsweise mag sie manchem Redner ZU leicht sein, denn wer sich am Pult festhält um nicht umzufallen, mit dem Unterarm darauf abstützt oder gerne mal „mit der Faust auf das Pult haut“ sollte eine massivere Ausführung wählen. Ich bin ein sehr lebendiger Redner / Dozent, habe aber gerade erwähnte Angewohnheiten in der Gestik nicht, bzw. deute sie nur an, falls angebracht. Also achte ich noch etwas bewusster darauf, meine Gestik und Körpersprache etwas vom Pult physisch zu entkoppeln und das klappt prima. Erfahrenen Dozenten dürfte das sowieos relativ leicht fallen. Der Zusammenbau geht schnell und einfach da selbsterklärend innerhalb ca. 10 Minuten. Ein Inbusschlüssel für die Schrauben ist beigelegt. In Anbetracht des Preises, des Verwendungszweckes und unter Berücksichtigung meines Vortragstils bin ich mit dem Produkt bis jetzt sehr zufrieden. Alle Angaben stimmen mit der Beschreibung überein, es war sehr gut verpackt und die Lieferung erfolgte schnell, wie angegebene.

Decent, solid, adjustable lectern that doesn't take up a lot of space. Good value.
