The writing and the editing are very poor. You can see a lot of typos (which do tend to happen, and are tolerable in a small quantity), but you can also see that the grammar isn't correct on many places throughout the book. Even if the authors first language isn't English, at least the book should be reviewed and edited before it's published and sold.2. The book deals with the history of Android and other trivia information, which is completely fine if that's the kind of book you're looking for, but I believe that the title and the description are misleading in telling someone they'll have a moderate knowledge of Android development after they're through the book.That being said, I've bought the book for just 99 cents to read on my Kindle and it isn't completely useless because you can read up on some of the history of Android and how it all came to be, why to choose a career in Android, etc.Bottom line is: The book has some nice information about the history of Android and careers in Android development, but don't buy this book to learn to program and develop Android apps.
